Jewellery box launch and Giveaway!

This week marked the opening of the  Jewellery Box shop in Brick lane, London. As the store is cute and small they hosted a number of intimate events throughout the week and I was lucky enough to attend on Tuesday.

The gathering allowed Jewellery box to show case their wares and ply bloggers with prosseco … win, win on everyone’s part I’d say!

I absolutely loved how adorable the store was, it made me feel like I was in a magical forest with all the fairy lights and wood. The festive touches dotted around gave you that rustic Christmas feel without being over bearing… slowly easing us into the craziness that is Christmas.

The Jewellery itself was so lovely. There was a lot of silver (which is great for me as that’s basically all I wear) but they also included some gold/rose gold options which I know some girls will go crazy for! Immediately what caught my eye though, was the dinosaur necklaces!!!!! I’m a sucker for a dino and could not leave without purchasing this little babe, everyone…. meet Douglas 🙂

Most of their products are quite dainty, no big statement pieces, but I feel like this really fits with the style of the shop. And if you are impressed with what’s on offer you will be happy to know that the prices are even better! With rings for just £5 you can’t go wrong! (There’s a couple of rings that definitely look like they should be Pandora, so if you still have that one friend/relative to buy for this Christmas I would highly recommend!)

Each attendee was given a goody bag as a thank you for attending the event. One of the items in this bag was a small heart pendant which you could customise using their stamp. Anyone who knows me will be aware of how much I love things with my name on… My dressing gown, a blanket, I even have it tattooed on me for Christ sake! I’m not even a massive fan of my name but I think it just makes me feel super spesh! Anyway, I stamped my pendant with an L (for Laura) … I know, it’s slightly wonky but then again so am I so it’s pretty fitting really. Also I didn’t want to add a B (for Butcher) cause I am soon to be a G (for Grant – not a gangster). I’m in a bit of a surname limbo at the moment!

All of the Jewellery box girls were amazing and I am totally confident that they will be able to sort out all of your jewellery needs! If you can’t make it down to the store do not fret… Here is a link to their website

You will also be happy to know that as it is Black Friday some of their products are just £1 with £1 postage – today only so hurrryyyyyy!!!

Check out my vlog here to find out what I got in my goody bag 🙂 Feel free to subscribe so you will never miss a video – I know right, I’m too kind!

    Hey Laura!

I would love to win your competition jewellery, although i have draws and draws of costume jewellery my “go to” jewellery would always be my wedding and engagement rings. Despite my hands swelling up on a regular basis I always make sure they’re somehow with me (usually on a swollen pinkey) however they are the most meaningful pieces of jewellery I have ever worn and make me happy everytime I look at them.

    Lots of Love
